Life lessons to keep you motivated

The only people who judge you are those who stay in their comfort zones to avoid failure. Judgmental people often wish they could try new things, but those who are actively trying and living their own lives don’t have time to judge you. Pessimists might sound smart, but optimists are the ones who succeed.

You’ll never get anywhere if you’re not willing to embarrass yourself a little.

May your decisions reflect your dreams and not your fears.

Self-Fulfilling Prophecy

If you believe you’ll be successful, you’ll make it happen. Conversely, if you believe someone when they say you can’t achieve something, you might subconsciously start to act as though it won’t happen.

Fear can lead to inaction. By talking through your fears, you’re more likely to take action.

When you say yes to something, you’re saying no to something else. Everything is a trade-off. For example, if you buy lunch every day, you might not be able to afford a holiday at the end of the year. If you’re okay with that and it aligns with your values, then you’re making the right choice.

There will always be difficult situations—choose your hard.

You need systems in place to achieve your goals. If your goal is to write a book, have you scheduled 30 minutes a week for that task?

It’s easier to criticise from the sidelines.

If you believe things will work out, you’ll see opportunities. If you believe they won’t, you’ll only see obstacles.

With 7.7 billion people in the world, don’t let the opinion of one person stop your growth.

The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second-best time is now.

If you want to achieve big things, don’t let little things get to you.

Every failure is one step closer to succeeding.
